In terms of energy use, condenser dryers typically require about 2 kWh of energy per average textile load.
-Heat Pump Dryers:
A heat pump dryer works as a closed loop system by heating the air it uses to remove moisture from clothes and then reusing it once the moisture is removed without losing as much heat, so heat pump dryers can have shorter drying times than tumble dryers.
It consumes up to 50% of the energy required by condensing dryers, so it consumes much less electricity. This is one of the biggest advantages of this type and the perfect choice for those who want a machine that preserves the environment more and has a fast drying process at the same time.
-Mechanical Steam Pressure Dryers:
They are a new type of clothes dryer under development and are a more advanced version of heat pump dryers, but instead of using hot air to dry textiles, mechanical steam compression dryers use water recovered from textiles in the form of steam, and when the wet steam comes out of the cylinder, it is mechanically compressed to extract the water vapor and transfer the heat of evaporation to the remaining gaseous vapor. The compressed gaseous vapor then expands and is superheated before being returned back into the cylinder, where its heat causes more water to evaporate from the textiles.
Mechanical steam pressure dryers operate in a very similar range of efficiency as heat pump dryers, so both types may be considered twice as efficient as conventional clothes dryers, but mechanical steam pressure dryers take about half the drying times of heat pump dryers due to the high temperature used in them, and for this reason, they are considered more popular as Dryers in Saudi Arabia than other types.
-Microwave dryers:
They are dryers developed by the Japanese, using high-frequency signals to operate piezoelectric motors to shake the clothes mechanically and release water in the form of mist, which is then removed from the cylinder, but they complete the drying process with heating by convection to avoid the problems of damage to the pieces inside the washed textiles.

After the drying process takes place, the machine produces moisture and what is called lint, which is the residue of accumulations of textile fibers.
